Francois will be betrayed by one of the families he tries to help. After struggling against the nobility, the bounty on Francois' head becomes too tempting for a desperate father trying to save his family. But in forgiving the traitor with his dying breath, he inspires his killer to take up Francois' work in the fight.

WHO OR WHAT WILL OPPOSE YOUR CHARACTER?

Francois (for the first Season at least) is in direct conflict with l'Empereur over opposed opinions for how the common people of Montaigne should be treated. He would be opposed by any within l'Empereur's court with a desire to maintain the status quo. Due to his habit of embarassing l'Empereur's guards with cunning thefts and feats of evading capture, he has a particular nemesis in one of the Captains of the Guard - Philip de Parse.

CHARACTER STORY

Concept: Feed the starving mice from the table of Montaigne's fat cats.

Step 1: Find out where and when the next tax delivery to l'Empereur will take place
Step 2: TBD
Step 3: TBD

Goal: Francois successfully liberates and redistributes the upcoming tax collection to the unfortunate souls living below the poverty line in Charouse.

Reward: This will change Francois' Orphan quirk to the Criminal quirk.
