In this game, we will follow a format that divides stories into 2 categories: Character Story, and Seasonal Story.
Seasonal Story:
Is the main plot we, the GMing team, are running for the players. The GMs set the scenes and players can join in on the steps to take part in the overall plot of the season. The end of the Seasonal Story also signifies the end of Season 1, and as such, the current game.
Character Story:
Every approved Character has the ability to tell a story focusing on themselfs. Be it in the present or in a flashback. The key difference here is that unless specific criteria are hit, the player of said character is managing the story: He sets the scenes.
Not only that, he can also invite up to 2 additional characters from other players to join his story for a step. There is no limit how often you can invite a particular character, so 3 characters can theoretically play through the entire story together.
There is however a limit on how many stories a character can appear in at any given time:
A character may join 2 Character Stories in addition to his/her personal story.
And there is also a rough "size limit" on Character Stories:
Character stories during Season One cannot exceed 3 steps.
If the story is supposed to take longer than that, you can easily continue it in the next season.
A GM will get involved in a character story to manage the following issues:

A GM will get involved in a character story to manage the following issues:
- Risks: Whenever a scene is to include a risk as per core rulebook, you may set the scene and then call in a GM to manage the risks. This is not only because there's a huge responsebility here, but also because we might offer opertunities that will come into play somewhere down the line - related to villains, or the seasonal story.
- Villains: Villains will be outside of player control. If you want them to appear in your story, contact a GM.
- Recurring NPCs: Generic NPCs can be controlled by the player, but if you wish to have a major or recurring NPC turn up, please involve the GMing staff.
- Hero Points: Any hero point gain or use has to go through GMs. Hero points will be tracked per season.
- Danger Points: About the same as with hero points, with the addition that a GM might allocate danger points without having been asked to. Each step of a story will generate the usual amount of danger points, that is 1 per character present in the step!
