That's ok since this is not a joint action sequence. Remember, in action sequences, the most raises always go first.

It was not a bad plan, he assured himself. Getting intel is never a bad plan. Climbing on top of a building in a city in which everyone and their brother is currently looking for you might have not been the best approach, though. The second he reached the top, the first brick missed him, followed by a boot that almost knocked his hat off. Now some of the goons were climbing the building, while some others were pelting his position with various thrown objects, random things like knifes that werent meant to used as throwing weaponry, milking stools, bricks, small logs, and one very displeased cat that landed on another hooded figures back on the other side of the barn.
Clearly there was not time for a breather. The new plan had to be getting to the church, one way or another.
ps: Ah, I completly forgot about raises going first, my bad, sorry

La Moruna discovers that whoever she is, furtive action is not part of her identity, and only her small size allows her and the child to escape the attention of the attackers. She tries to stay close enough to overhear conversations, but she can sense them turning their heads in her direction. It takes all her efforts to gain more and more distance and avoid capture, missing the chance to spy on them.

Defeated, La Moruna dragged her bared feet across the ashes and debris towards the village centre. Sitting by the well, she started pulling water, passing it towards any of the survivors and taking the opportunity to see to their wounds.

Being surrounded did not sit well with him.
Sure, he was able to give some painful whips on the hands of whoever tried to climb onto the roof, but it was only a matter of time before more enemies showed up, they figured out that they could burn the barn down anyways as they want to burn down the city, or they found more gunpowder weaponry.
He straightened out Peitsche. Calculated descend, with enough gravitorial support to enable a rather unusual leap, accelerating him towards... the church? Yes, from this current position that was the only clear way to go. Lets hope that the villagers would be ready, or so few guards remaining that he could subdue them before the others could catch up.
(approach)
Using my weapon whip to manouver down from the building, out of the surrounding enemies, and then plain attempting to cause a scene with most efficiency at the church porch. Its more about getting the guards that still remain into a chaotic stalemate than defeating them on my own, if I can make it that far.

Finn is trying to confuse and terrify the remaining members of the hooded figures with his whip, rather than fight them directly.
For 1 raise, he succeeds in involving them in a longer scene that threatens to break what little control they have left after their ranks have already thinned, and likely cause them to soon retreat, fearing the coming fire. It will also show the villagers just how powerless their captors are. The consequence is being taken captive, swarmed by the remaining numbers, avoided by 1 raise. Another consequence is taking 2 wounds from a few lucky hits here and there, avoided by 1 raise each.
Do not forget that you can spend raises to create opertunities for other characters. This would be a great time to create one for La Moruna.

He calculated his descent one more time. It had to work, or this would end with him being physically hurt from the fall before the enemy would swarm him. A flick of his wrist, Peitsche curling itself around a big wooden bar on the roof of the barn. More angry yells, and a running jump. For a fraction of a second, the wanderer saw himself falling towards an enemy with a knife inbetween his teeth, angrily climbing towards him. In the next, a shock went through his body as the whip reached its maximum tension and swung him around like a flail, shooting him from the vertical into horizontal movement. A quick movement of his hand, and the tension was released, and the whip undone from the bar. He flew a few meters, silently hoping that his plan worked. With a very audible thud, he landed in a cart full of fresh hay, which, carried by the momentum and with an not less audible crunching sound, broke free from its brake and started rolling down the street, almost running over two hooded figures which quickly jumped to the sides, one into a water through and the other collided painfully with a wall. Trying to regain his composure, and acting like the cart breaking free and rolling down the street towards the church grounds was totally part of the plan, the masked one quickly got back onto his feet, attempting to steer the loose vehicle in any meaningful way. Swinging his whip, he managed to cut some corners, and arrived quickly at the church grounds, driving in the middle of the place before coming to a slow halt. Angry guards eyed him, and with some orders quickly started gathering around the cart. Well, this should work, thought the wanderer to himself. All thats left was to show the villagers that these were not infallible fighters, but just men and women like any other else. Quickly his whip dashed around, him using the higher ground that the cart provided, although the hay made his footwork worse, and endangered him to fall at every step. One by one he struck enemies trying to get close with hurting lashes, trying to keep them on their distance. The Villagers watching the spectacle had mixed reactions. Some cheered to be shushed by others, some nervously steped left and right as if to evade the onslaught themselves. However, while some of the hoods were taken aback by the heavy resistance, others managed to close in more and more, as the whiplashes might hurt, but failed to keep them down. With his footwork hindered, he was less able to dodge, and barely managed to evade some of the thrown objects. Seeing him fumbling, even just so slightly, some felt reassured that he was not in fact invincible. Clearly it was just a matter of time until they would overwhelm him with numbers, as he started to breathe heavier. More and more it dawned on him that he was just one man, and his plans alone would not be enough to save everyone. A villager woman screamed something. And then a bucket hit the back of his head. It came flying out of nowhere, and painfully collided with him, causing him to lose his stance on the uneven footing. Seeing the chance, quickly two figures grabbed his legs and pulled, toppling him over and dragging him off the cart. Still dazed, they put him on feet, grabbing his arms. orokos.com/roll/444357 orokos.com/roll/444358(3 raises total. 1 used to trap the enemy in combat of confusion. 1 used to evade 1 wound. 1 used to create an Opportunity for La Moruna. No raises to avoid capture, oh noes!)

Starting a quick Risk
(Approach)
While Finn boldly continues waging his one-man's war on the Inquisition, La Moruna is taking the turns reassuring the villagers, subtly trying to ease them, trying to understand how they are feeling and what they suffered at the hands of the goons, who might be missing, or if they have any clue about what the arsonists are trying to achieve here.
As Finn's assault takes a turn to the worse, the sounds of fighting and female screams pierce the night. Smuggling a knife into her ragged clothing, she turns her inquires towards asking the villagers if they know who the goons might be fighting.

That sounds like empathy/panache.
For 1 raise, la will find out that the villagers are in acute distress (which might not be suprising). The inquisition showed up just after the fire started and claimed that if they cooperated, they would all leave unharmed. Most of their members are armed with knives, and the townfolks initially thought they would help them get to safety or fight the fire, which is why they quickly submitted. But instead of taking them away, the hoods started questioning them for a young girl that recently came into town, that looks just like... "Wait, is this about you?". La Moruna needs to spend 1 raise to avoid the wrath of a few villagers happy to blame her, or even offer her to the inquisition to end these horrible proceedings. The distraction on the village center can be used. Grandma Cristinas only grandchild is still missing, as he was out playing in the fields. Should you spend a raise to learn of this and chose to reunite them, she will spot the child at la morunas side, and run towards him with a voice broken by relief - only to be knocked over by a nearby inqisition goon. Something the goon should not have done, because as intimidated as the villagers were, this will ignite fury that will make the nearby inferno look like the last embers of a campfire.

La Moruna just smiles as she reassures them that this must be some sort of conflict going on and they are caught in between. Even if they were still nervous, La Moruna quickly found Grandma Cristina's grandkid and appeased him with jokes and playful toying, melting the heart of everyone around her. At that, they mention that they are looking for Padre Monte Joyas and for anything that he is carrying. The petite woman frowns; it is bad enough that they are damaging the last goods of a poor community that have been so nice to her, they are also going after a member of the clergy! "The man they were fighting must be the priest!" La Moruna concluded. "And the cargo was the woman that just screamed!" Dirty, barefooted and only with a knife; but somehow confident. "I will rescue both of them. Save yourselves and see to your own." "Vaya con Theus!"* 9, 1, 1, 5, 5, 9, 8: orokos.com/roll/444506Reroll 1: orokos.com/roll/444507 9, 8, 1, 5, 5, 9, 8 3 raises, one dice for sale (1 raise to deflect blame, 1 to rejoin Grandma Cristina with her grandchild. 1 Raise left - Opportunity to Finn) * Theus be with you.

Using the apparent daze, the guards dragged and guided the still masked man towards the church. Voices of unrest among the villagers were heard, but ignored by the hooded figures. "Bring him inside for questioning!" was an order shouted out, and two of the guards guarding the church joined in to restrict the wanderers movements. He, meanwhile having largely recovered from the hit, tried to not put up too much of a resistance. Peitsche was still in his hand as they more or less carried him through the church gates, leaving the entrance open and unguarded for the moment. The churches walls were high, and made of solid stone. Big ornate windows to all sides provided enough light to see clearly, and the air was filled with the faint smell of incense. Inside were several dozen villagers, men, women and children, all in various stages of fright and confusion. Multiple doors in the back of the church lead to what could be fanthomed to be the local priests living quarters, and currently one villager at a time was brought in there. After some time, they would emerge from the same doorway again, most of them with blemishes, bruises or small burns. Angry yells were heard from the back, as one of the guards ran into the door to report the capture. One of the others let go of the wanderer and grappled the whip from his hand, and then stood to the side.
They pushed the masked one forward and down, forcing him to his knees. He looked around, checking his surroundings for possible escape routes. Several of the villagers looked at him with curiousity and some with fear. He heard fractions of the short discussion behind the half-closed doors, but couldnt make out a real meaning on this distance.
However, he heard something else. Voices, quite a lot of them outside the church, quite angry and judging by the increase in volume, coming closer. Had the villagers finally realized their chance? The church doors were currently unguarded, his distraction had drawn too much of them from their post. In his immediate vicinity were currently 3 guards, two of them still holding him, the other holding Peitsche. About half a dozen more were currently in the church, most of the occupied keeping the nervous villagers down.
An angry mob would be great right now, but his current position unfavorable for escape. He heard chairs being moved in the backroom. Someone was coming, he needed a plan, quick.

Ignoring the precautions suggested by La Moruna, a mob gathered in front of the church, angrier and angrier. Grandma Cristina was the most outrageous.
"This is a place of worship and of community! You are worse than the Montainge! You are desecrating the House of Theus!"
"You give the Faithful a bad name!"
"Out! Out of the Pueblo!"
This distracted the guards, as La Moruna slipped through. She found that she was specially calm within the church, and as if she owned the place she entered, went towards the baptismal basin, dipped her hand in the holy water and blessed herself with the sign of the cross.
Closing her eyes, she curtsey and smiled at the guards.
"Theus blessings! You guys seem to be in problem." La Moruna beaconed with friendship and relaxing personality that let the guards at ease. "And you look exhausted. "How can I help you get out of this mess?"
The guards looked to each other, but La Moruna's smile was contagious.

The guards, smiling and smirking at the petite women, held the wanderer less tight at first, and after some dispute pushed him to the back, into a crevice, telling him not to make a wrong move. They quickly turned back to La Moruna.
"Why, what a courtous fine young woman" one of them hastidly replied. "Oh I could think of some things you could help us with" another interjected. "Leave her alone, cant you see that you are intimidating her?" growled the third. "I will talk to her, she adressed me anyways." said the first one. "No, obviously she was talking to me." responded the second. "Men she asked ALL of us." was the answer of the third. "Oh YOU would like that wouldnt you!"
Among the bickering between the three men, the fourth one, having secured Peitsche on his Belt and trying to supress a giggle at the scene, was obviously distracted enough.
Quietly, the wandered reached for his favorite weapon.
(approach)
stealing Peitsche back from the henchman in front, and using the opportunity created by La Morunas distraction to mix in with the townspeople.

"Come on, don't fight." La Moruna giggles. "Love is the lesson of the Prophet, please, remind that on his house. I sure do. I love all of you, and that is why I would hate to see unnecessary suffering happen. You have done a bad, bad thing today. However, all of us have made our dose of mistakes and I am here to help you fix yours. You do not want to fight the villagers, do you? And they might be furious, but they do not want to fight you either. Perhaps we can reach an agreement that allows you to make amends and escape unmolested."
