Current idea is playing one of a pair of star crossed lover.
On one end, there is a Porté Sorcerer who not too long ago came back from the war with Castille, where he not only plied his wormhole trade, he took part in battles. He's a firm believer in noblesse oblige, and is not of a fan of what he sees of the decadent court of backstabbing.
On the other end, a Vodacce witch, who has yearned for freedom her whole life, so it was no surprise that she became Sophia's daughter. She felt compelled to confess this secret to her one true love, who accepted her nonetheless, and supports her in her revolutionary ideals.... to a point.

A traveller, a student, a jack of all trades, a merchant, a friend to the downtrodden and foe to the wicked, a hero?
A well educated young man, of a merchant family, having just finished his education, is traveling the world to learn and spy out mercantile opportunities for his family. The name of the Dutch analog eludes me at the moment, but from there, with an Avalonian mother.

Planning on doing an ex-assassin who was previously in the service of one of the merchant princes of Vodacce.
His twin sister, a fate witch, has recently gone missing and Amerigo is bound and determined to see her safe and sound again!

I...have not yet some to terms with the history of my character.
They are a Castillian priest, a learned and gentle person of the cloth.
All I know if I plan for them to have had a history. A history...of violence.

So here are my current ideas...
Idea 1: A simple-minded farmer with maybe a terrible past (maybe he's done something terrible?), blessed with Matushkas Touch and is cursed to always be forgiving/kind, even to her foes, and is sent by Matushka to spread healing to this aching world. She has yet to come to terms with her new powers and is unsure what her real fate is. Her ultimate death would be kindness towards a foe, who is taking advantage of her and probably backstabbing her. Will she ever learn the true lesson that Matushka tried to teach her?
Idea 2: The Sailor, who has no friggin idea what to do with himself. Is looking for is destiny, and is lured by evilness. I'm really not sure where to go from this one... D:
Idea 3: An aspiring, very good-looking, egoistic Poet/Artist/Model/Bard/Something. He/she maybe knows how to wield a weapon, but is very much afraid of getting dirty or even scars in their beautiful, flawless body.
If you have any concerns or ideas for my ideas, lemme know!

Llama and La Mourna:
Very close, but not quite! Definitely a character along those lines, though.

I was considering submitting an actual ghost.
But that would break my personal rule/guideline of not playing far out characters in online games, so instead I'm expecting to go with Cassidy's human battering ram... ;-)

I think there's a skill cap of 3 in place here Bosun.

Thanks, let me fix that. (Edit following PM discussion - the reference for the skill cap is here - Llama, perhaps this should be in the Character Generation thread of the Rules forum too?)

Emphasis mine. From pag. 146.
It is not a house rule.

So, for names, what would Eisen character surnames look like? If I'm Martel, do I just need to select a suitable sounding surname? Is it based on where I'm from, making me Martel von Wische, or Martel von AvillageinWische? Or something else entirely?
Build-wise, unfortunately, I was looking at being Brawn 4 Resolve 3. Which isn't a problem... except that he's going to also be a crewman on the Hangman's daughter, and Jovis has that same stat spread. I could switch them, I suppose, but I do like to hit things with big swords. Hmmm... Martel's a tough soldier who survives against all odds; his story relates to him being a lone survivor. I suppose I could let traits cover the surviving aspect, get a bit of wits or panache instead. Not sure. Still poking at it.
