Would anyone object to my resolving the opportunity immediately, with a Hero Point? (Opportunist ftw )

the question is WHICH opportunity, this entire thing is more than just 1. Opportunities would be something like the girl currently being abducted (which you could by shooting the assailant if you want me to get you involved), or getting the merchant out in one go with no dice rolled.
The battle however is an action sequence and not an opportunity, there can be multiple opportunities in a battle sequence, that rarely can be covered at once

I think he was referring to the opertunity finn provided by checking on the girls scream, which is the abduction currently in progress.
If you do take it, I expect a showcase of teamwork! After all, you would not be able to do this unless Finn was willing to provide the opertunity to you.

Use Opportunist and a Hero Point to activate the "Rescue the girl" opportunity.

well Im rather sure frederike got the poor remaining squad, may the ancients have mercy on their souls
because Im pretty sure she wont!
could create another opportunity, but cant figure out WHAT opportunity other than "Yo, Frederike, hit that one!", so lets wait and see if this resolves

The great thing about creating opportunities is that it can literally be anything that fits in with the scene. So, you could say that one of the brutes dropped something, either for its value or information, or it's more likely to be the kidnapper than the brutes I suppose. Or maybe the merchant you rescued is actually carrying a secret mission for an important courtier, and he mentions it when talking to you. Or even seeing a way for the blockage to be easily cleared. just no dinosaurs.

there, I figured this was the best course of action for using my last raise, ending this round of the action sequence.
Though I dont actually know if opportunities can last for a different approach, it certainly feels like this should happen.
also, sadly no dinosaurs. This time. Im an archeologist though so its just a matter of time.
Edit: whoops just realized that blaise already ran to her, quickly rewriting...
There we go, butting in on Blaise hogging all the glory to out her as rich! Like Blaise is! No way they are going to have a secret wealth party!

While Im curious about the woman, I doubt questioning her would be dangerous (unless shes actually a super spy ninja assassin from the future), also Blaise got to her first. He's the courtier and stuff, its his job to talk to people.
As soon as she turns into an ancient artifact, though, I call dibs.

If this damsel turns out to be an ancient artifact, I will absolutely allow you to deal with the problem.
