not to discredit, but dont you need to achieve 10s by building them out of your dice? as in, a 8,8,9 would still onyl be 1 raise as you can only combine the two 8s for example for a 16 (provided teh gm hasnt used danger points to raise difficulty) or did I miss a rulechange

I guess it is then 3 raises, selling 1 dice.

We are tied; you want to go first, Finn?

Apologies, usually I'm supposed to make the list of consequences and opertunities prior to the roll to maintain the suspense! Got ahead of me there!
If you wish to "fail", you can still do that. No sense letting you suffer for my mistake.

spending my raises on not being shot, not being caught, and trapping/obstructing and generally annoying the crap out of all of them. ALL OF THEM!
for the last point. Given taht this is a testing and learning adventure, a) are hero points season bound or session bound, aka do I get hero points per story or per season and on that note b) can I use second story work if I spend a hero point to enter the church through unconventional means even if I dont spend the raise, or is that opportunity lost with me not taking it once
also, maybe relevant c) does my hubris activate (curious, investigated something that might be dangerous) for this whole ordeal at the end?
I have to say, I was very tempted to be catched after trapping some and getting all the way to teh church, it would have given some interesting opportunities, but getting captured is still an option later one I assume!

Hero points are managed by season.
Yes, you can spend a hero point to slip inside. Feel free to write something up that fits your character in how you actually make it inside. The opertunity was more about luring the few remaining guards from the doors anyway.
I'm gonna go with "yes" on curiosity, so long as your plan is to actually find out what's going on here, and not just mess with the inquisition.

DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES AND I HAVE NOTES TO MAKE! Also saving lifes and junk, but still! Anyways, will wait until La Moruna has taken her actions to decide on hero point usage, as its her story!

Also, on thaaaat topic, Virtues and Hubris are usually handled once per Session, does this mean that its once per story you participate in (if an opportunity arrives) or do you wish to make them seasonal as well?

I'm all out of Raises, to I guess this means the end of the round.
I would suggest you do not spend Hero Points this early; in fact, I would say you can choose to Fail and get captured in order to find out where their leader is, while I follow you.
Of course, you have no reason to believe anyone will rescue you...

hum, that makes for some proper chaos in the city. Is it another opportunity time to proceed to with a different approach? La moruna has the fire delayed, I got the forces split up, now we would need to start rescuing some villagers I assume. Do you wish to hear our approaches for it first before giving the opportunity, though I guess approach is before opportunity and roll after to keep it consistent.
Basically, so far we have handled the symptoms, but not the source of the problems, and we should probably get on that.
yeah, I consider getting captured now, that the forces are split up and hindered.

Yes, we should proceed to trying to find out who leads the goons (Brute Squad)? and confront them.
So I guess we should focus on getting intel and resolve this Scene.

actually, because of the intel thing I asked about virtues, because mine lets me determine a brute squads type and a villains rank and advantages.
