Weaponary/Panache for Finn, does that sound acceptable?

That is entirely within your narrative freedom.
He surely caused a lot of commotion by now, and his last risk he took from a high-up place. Chances are good.

I never got an answer if my quirk activated or not.

I was thinking that the villagers will not be quite so selfish and will at least make a distraction, giving an opportunity for me and Finn.

If you think that your just practiced what you preach, then yes. But do you preach assassins creed parkour? But at the very least, saving the blameless innocent qualifies. Your quirk applies!

I will use Second Story Work with the Hero Point I just got, and then me and Finn can have a scene together.
What you guys think?

Sure, however to clarify on my control of risks here: What I write isn't the end-all to everything. That means that you can assume narrative control, for instance, to have the peasants rally and drive off, or at least resist, the intruders.
Also, when you grant opertunities to other players, please feel free to make them up yourself! After all, your actions lead to the opertunity!
So while you can activate your advantage with the hero point, no question, in these circumstances it seems likely that you could achieve your goal through other means as well.

yeah, a combo scene with the granted opportunity seems like a good way to go, want me to write up a little scene of me getting thrown into the church first where we might encounter evil dude number 1, also preventing me from noticing that the villagers start going crazy about a grandma and her grandchild that was almost burned to death because of them?

A setup from your side seems good, since it will then help me setup how to enter the scene.

There we go, have a church full of villagers for your grande entrance. Or your miniscule entrance, whichever you prefer. The opportunity granted I will take as the villagers that were frenzied when they realized the hoods were gonna let a child burn to death in the fields over questions, and marching on the church to demand answers or satisfaction, depending on who you ask.

hmmm, just for clearance, you spent the raise of my opportunity to get me out, correct? or do you provide an opportunity I need to spend a raise on to get out and need to speak my approach
Also, is the figure of your past the leader of these guys or can I have my own narrative freedom version of the leader of these thugs?
